Line Cook/Prep Cook/

Summary of Position: Be the person that upholds the “attention to detail” in all areas. Ensure that all quality standards regarding kitchen products are met or exceeded. Be a responsible part of all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; assure that all company standards are met or exceeded, including but not limited to the areas of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to Evil Genius’s restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition (through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s cleaning & preventative maintenance programs.)
• Work with manager/owner and stay in communication about guest feedback.
• Ensure that all products are monitored and kept according to Evil Genius standards.
• Control food cost and usage by making sure that proper product storage procedures (HACCP), standard recipes and waste control procedures are followed.
• Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance are followed and completed on a timely basis.
• Maintain safe operation of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Maintain appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, and all other equipment and food storage areas.
• Fill in where & when needed at whatever position needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met and/or exceeded


This role is located at our Front Street brewery in Philadelphia.
